Most households run on one person's memory.

Who's the plumber we used last time? When does the car insurance renew? What's Mum's doctor's number? Usually one person knows, and it's all in their head, their inbox or a drawer somewhere.

The Everything Binder gets it written down once, in a sensible order, so that when something goes wrong, or you're simply away for the weekend, anyone in the family can pick it up and find what they need.

How it works

Set it up in an hour.

1

Download it

The link arrives by email straight after you pay. Open it on your computer or print it out.

2

Spend an hour on it

Grab your Medicare cards and a bill from each provider. The setup plan on page 4 tells you what to fill in first.

3

Keep it where it's found

Tell one other person where it lives. Check it every three months; the review page makes that a fifteen-minute job.

Our 30-day file promise

If your file won't open or isn't as described, email us within 30 days and we'll fix it, replace it or refund you.

Is it a physical binder?

No. It's a PDF you download straight after you pay. Fill it in on screen, or print the pages and pop them in any A4 ring binder.

Does it work on an iPad or phone?

Yes. Open it in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app and tap a box to type. A computer or tablet is easiest, because the pages are A4.

Can I really type into it?

Yes. Every box and tick box is a form field. Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader (free), Chrome, Edge or Preview on a Mac, click a box and type. Save a copy when you're done.

Can I print it instead?

Yes. It's A4 and prints cleanly on a home printer or at Officeworks. Print single-sided so you can swap pages out later.

Which edition should I get?

The one for the country you live in. The Australian edition is written for Australian households: Medicare, super, SES, strata, EOFY, bushfire and storm season. Each other country has its own edition, with its own numbers, paperwork and dates.

Is my information private?

The binder is a blank file. Everything you type stays on your own device, and we never see it. Keep your filled copy somewhere safe, like a private folder, or print it and keep it at home.

Should I put my passwords in it?

No, and the binder tells you not to. It records where things are kept, such as which password manager you use, never the passwords, PINs or full card numbers.

How do I get it?

It's an instant download. After you pay, a download link is emailed to you, usually within a few minutes.

What if something's wrong with the file?

Email us within 30 days and we'll fix it, replace it or refund you. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply.
